The Only Two Business Tools I’m Loving This Winter
(And Why BizMagic Has Become My Weekly Anchor)
Every winter, I look for things that help me settle in, stay steady, and keep my business moving forward without adding weight to my plate. I don’t want more noise, more platforms, or another big plan I’m supposed to magically sustain. I want something that meets me where I am — something that helps me focus, feel supported, and actually get work done.
This year, I found that in BizMagic’s BFF Community.
BizMagic.co is created by one of my favorite humans ever, Patti Meyer — a gifted systems thinker who somehow makes getting organized feel doable, friendly, and… honestly, kind of comforting.
Two of her offerings have become staples in my business, one is a product and one is a community:
The BFF Community and The BizMagic Notion Template
If you’re craving clarity, structure, or simply a calmer way to run your week, I think you’ll love them too.
The BFF Community
Quiet support, real momentum, and the kind of co-working that actually works
If you’ve ever tried to run your business alone — or with ADHD, or with a brain that loves to wander — you know how hard it is to sit down and stay down long enough to finish anything.
This is where BizMagic BFFs surprised me.
It’s small.
It’s focused.
It’s calm in all the right ways.
And the weekly co-working sessions?
They’ve become a game-changer for me.
Here’s what I wrote in my testimonial, and it feels true every week:
“BFF has become the one place where I actually stay focused and get things done. The co-working sessions are magic for my ADHD brain – I sit down, I stay put, and I finish what I start. The small Slack community makes me feel connected without being overwhelmed, and it’s such a relief to be surrounded by other business owners who get it. I haven’t even made it to the live office hours yet, but I already know how valuable they’ll be. Honestly, I’m just grateful it’s this affordable, because it’s quickly become one of the best parts of my weekly routine.”
It's rare to find a community that feels both supportive and spacious — where you can show up exactly as you are, do the work that matters, and leave feeling like your week just got lighter.
It honestly takes ZERO% of my social battery to show up, and it keeps me in the flow.
If that sounds like something you’re craving, check it out and join us!
Also - it’s a new community, so it’s small (which I love), and it’s only $30/mo. right. now - and so worth it!
And now, on to my next share…
The BizMagic Small Business Hub Notion Template
Your business, finally in one place
There are a million templates out there, but Patti’s is different.
It’s not just pretty (although it really is).
It’s functional — in a way that simplifies your entire business without making you reinvent how you work.
Her Notion Template/Dashboard gives you a home base for everything:
Projects
Tasks
Goals
Money
Content
Weekly planning
Client management
Notes you usually lose and wonder about later
Instead of scattering your brain across multiple apps, you get one steady place to land. A place that actually helps you breathe a little easier and think a little clearer.
I didn’t expect a dashboard to shift how I move through my days, but this one did. It’s the kind of tool that makes you feel supported, not judged — like a gentle structure you can lean into when everything else feels too loud.
You can take a look at it here:

And there you have it! My biz tools recommendations from BizMagic.
I’m not an affiliate, I’m not making money for recommending these. I don’t recommend much these days other than GoLiveHQ.co Squarespace templates (I am an affiliate, and I love them), but these offerings have made a real difference for me this year, and they both feel like something soft and cozy that my other female solopreneurs who are working alone at home need.
Plus, we can see each other in BizMagic BFFs and co-work together! 🎉
I don’t believe in pressure-based productivity, and I don’t want any part of the “hustle harder” messaging that gets pushed at small business owners this time of year.
What I do believe in:
Tools and spaces that help you feel grounded, organized, and capable — without asking you to abandon your natural pacing.
BizMagic does exactly that.
If you’re stepping into winter wanting a steadier foundation, a little more clarity, or a way to stay focused without forcing yourself into overdrive, these two offerings might be exactly what you need.
I love them.
I use them.
And I’m grateful they exist.
Happy Holidays!
